The team

Ed Long - Chair and Membership Lead

Ed joined The Fourth Choir in 2014 after seeing them sing at Sandi and Debbie Toksvig's public wedding ceremony at the Southbank Centre and has been a Trustee since 2016. The highlight of his time with the choir was co-producing a concert in collaboration with a group of Deaf professional musicians and performers at the Barbican. Ed previously sang with Voce Chamber Choir under Suzi Digby and, outside the choir, works in technical partnerships for a software company.

Séamus Rea - Creative Lead

Séamus started his professional life as a theatre director specialising in opera. He worked as an assistant director at Covent Garden, Opera North and Scottish Opera with singers such as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Placido Domingo and Sir Thomas Allen. As opera director, Séamus worked in Ireland at the Belfast Opera House, the Wexford Opera Festival and Castleward Opera, Trinity College of Music and Oxford University Opera Club. He later worked as a lawyer in the City for 20 years while he maintained his interest in the arts, writing and directing three short films which won "Best Short" awards at the BBC Short Film Festival and the Milan Gay Film Festival. Seamus was one of the founding members of the choir and was one of the first Trustees.

Sophia Allen - Music Lead

Sophia has been singing for many years, studying with teachers at the Royal Northern College of Music and Royal Academy of Music, as well as performing lead roles in operatic productions across the north of England. After receiving a BMus and an MA in Community Music in Yorkshire, Sophia moved down to London for a job at the Royal College of Music and joined the Fourth Choir in 2016. She is a passionate vocal leader with young people, and has conducted at prestigious venues including the Royal Albert Hall. Sophia now works for Britten Pears Arts as a Producer for the Community Department, continuing her work in accessibility to music for all.

Finn Schulze-Feldmann - Treasurer

Finn Schulze-Feldmann is History Teacher in London. He received his PhD in Philosophy and his Master’s in Cultural and Intellectual History at the Warburg Institute, and his undergraduate degree in History and Musicology from the University of Potsdam. He joined the Fourth Choir in 2016 and is one of the choir's treasured low basses.

Ellie Dragonetti - Publicity Lead

Ellie has a background in arts marketing and has worked for the London Philharmonic Orchestra, The Sixteen, Academy of St Martin in the Fields and Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, amongst others. Now a full-time mum to a toddler, Ellie sings alto and leads on Press and Publicity for The Fourth Choir.  ​

 Sarah de Winter - Operations Lead

Sarah is an arts manager and musician. She studied cello and singing alongside theatre studies and now runs a community arts programme in Camden. For a number of years, she also managed an amateur orchestra in London. Sarah joined the choir in 2018.

Kathleen Holman - Co-Founder and Design Lead

Kathleen co-founded the choir together with Francis Nwokedi in 2013. After doing lots of different roles in the choir's early years, Kathleen is now more behind the scenes. She is no longer a Trustee, but continues to look after the brand, print, photography, website, and concert lighting. She has 20 years of professional experience in web design, she is an avid event photographer.
